$2500 Flat Fee Divorce

$2500 Flat Fee Divorce

Believe it or not, you can actually obtain a divorce in Orange County for a flat fee! Divorce is typically very expensive, but the biggest expense can be to repair the damage to your case because you did not understand what was required and you filed your paperwork incorrectly.

At Kaufman Steinberg, we can help you file all of your paperwork correctly with the expertise of our attorneys. You receive in-person attorney assistance in the preparation of your dissolution (divorce) paperwork, never have to go to court, and have all questions answered to ensure that your divorce is as smooth as it can be.

The price you pay is a one-time, nonrefundable fee, if you qualify. Provided that you follow the timeline and instructions, your divorce paperwork can be submitted and final in a matter of weeks.

We will work around your schedule; in-person or teleconference meetings are available; low cost, high quality work; and no hidden fees or charges.

You will qualify if:

  • You and your spouse have an agreement as to all issues (custody, child support, spousal support, property division); and
  • You and your spouse are W2 employees or unemployed.

If you meet these simple requirements, contact us to get started with your $2500 flat fee divorce (plus initial filing fee charges which are mandatory payable to “Clerk of the Court” in the amount of $435 per person).

If you are married less than 5 years, have no children together, don’t own more than $38,000 in property, don’t owe more than $6,000 in debt, and have no disagreements about how your belongings and debts are going to be divided, then you can qualify for our $1,500 flat fee Summary Dissolution (plus the initial filing fee charge of $435 which is mandatory).

If you are self-employed, own a business, or need assistance with preparing a parenting agreement, you may still qualify for a flat fee, but you must also meet the qualifications set forth above, and there will be a fee of $1,500 for each “add-on” as stated above. You may choose to pay an hourly rate in addition to the flat fee to help you navigate more difficult issues. We will help you choose the best rate and best approach that suits your needs.

If you do not qualify for either of the above, then you and your spouse might qualify for mediation. Our skilled family law attorneys can work with you to facilitate an agreement that you and spouse can live with rather than being combative in court.
